Hi! How can Zasu help you?
Topics
Getting started
How does Zasu work?
Zasu connects you with independent tutors and experts for one-to-one online lessons and consultations. Pick the right person, book one of their free time slots and join the video classroom right in your browser — nothing to install.
Zasu holds the lesson payment and only releases it to the tutor once the lesson is completed, so you are always protected.
How do I create a learner account?
Click “Sign up” and enter your name, email and password — or click “Continue with Google”. You need to tick the box accepting the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to create an account.
People under 16 need a parent's or guardian's consent; ideally the parent signs up and manages the account.
Finding the right tutor or expert
Go to “Find tutors” or “Find experts” and filter by subject, program, price, time slots, free trial and more. Each profile shows an intro, education, experience, learner reviews and availability.
Not sure who to pick? Use “Find a tutor or expert with a quick questionnaire” on the home page for suggestions. Click ♥ on a profile to save it to your favourites.
Can I message a tutor before booking?
Yes. Message the tutor from their profile page to ask about goals and learning plans. Messages containing phone numbers, emails or social media handles are blocked automatically — all lessons and payments must happen on Zasu so you stay protected.
Trial lessons
How do trial lessons work?
With each tutor you can take exactly one trial: a free 15-minute trial (if the tutor offers one) or a paid 50-minute trial at a discounted price set by the tutor.
Each learner can trial up to 3 tutors. Every package you buy adds one more trial.
Do I lose my trial if I cancel?
If you cancel at least 8 hours before the lesson, the trial is given back (paid trials are refunded 100%). If the tutor doesn't show up, you get the trial back as well.
Why can't I book a free trial?
If you miss 2 lessons in a row, free trials are temporarily suspended. Attend one full lesson to unlock them again. You may also have used all your trials, or that tutor doesn't offer free trials.
Booking & lessons
How do I book a lesson?
On the tutor's profile, choose a program and pick free time slots — you can book several at once. Regular lessons last 50 minutes. The price is taken from your Zasu wallet (or from your package if you have one with that tutor).
Each tutor sets a minimum notice period, so slots that are too soon won't show up.
How do I join the classroom? What do I need?
Open “My learning” (“My lessons” in the menu) and open the lesson to enter the classroom. The room opens 5 minutes before the start. Use a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer or phone and allow camera and microphone access.
The classroom has a chat and file sharing (up to 5 MB per file; files are deleted after 7 days). Zasu does not record lessons.
Does Zasu send lesson reminders?
Yes. You get an in-app notification and an email 24 hours and 1 hour before each lesson.
Cancelling or rescheduling a lesson
At least 8 hours before the lesson: cancel or reschedule for free with a 100% refund.
In the last 8 hours: lessons can't be cancelled. You can only propose a new time, and the lesson moves only if the tutor accepts. If the tutor cancels, you are always refunded 100%.
What if someone doesn't show up?
The system decides from classroom attendance 72 hours after the lesson ends. Tutor absent (you present): 100% refund. You absent (tutor present): no refund. Both absent and no dispute: no refund.
If you joined the classroom, your attendance is recorded and the tutor can't mark you absent.
When is a lesson completed? Where do I review my tutor?
A lesson is confirmed automatically once both sides have joined and it has ended, or 72 hours after the end if you haven't reported a problem. You can then review the tutor on the lesson page.
Lesson notes and homework from your tutor are also on the lesson page; you're notified when new homework arrives.
Something went wrong — how do I open a dispute?
Within 72 hours after the lesson ends, open the lesson page, click “🚨 Report a problem”, describe what happened and submit. The payment is held until Zasu resolves it and informs both sides.
Packages
What packages are there?
28-day plans: 4, 8 or 12 lessons per cycle at the full price, renewing automatically from your wallet. Unused lessons carry over to the next cycle.
Multi-lesson packages: 24 lessons −3% (valid 6 months), 48 lessons −5% (12 months), 96 lessons −10% (24 months). Once used up, the package switches to a 28-day renewal (8 lessons per cycle, full price).
Every package you buy adds one more trial with another tutor.
How do I turn off auto-renewal?
Go to “My learning” and switch off auto-renewal on the package. If your wallet is short when it's due, Zasu lets you know and you can keep using remaining lessons during the grace period.
What happens to unused lessons when a package expires?
When a package ends without renewal you get a 28-day grace period to keep booking, renew (unused lessons carry over) or cancel for a refund. After that, unused lessons are forfeited and not refunded. Zasu reminds you before the package expires.
Can I cancel a package for a refund?
Yes — unused lessons are refunded to your wallet. For discounted packages, lessons already taken are recalculated at the full price and the difference is deducted from the refund.
Wallet & payments
How do I top up my wallet?
Go to “Top up wallet”, choose an amount (20,000₫ – 50,000,000₫ per top-up) to get your own ZASU… code, then transfer or scan the QR code with exactly that code as the transfer memo. Your wallet is credited automatically within a few minutes. Each code is valid for 60 minutes.
I transferred money but my wallet wasn't credited
Check that the transfer memo contains the right code. If it was wrong or missing, email the transfer receipt to support@izasu.com so it can be reconciled and credited manually.
How is my money protected?
When you book, the price is taken from your wallet and held by Zasu. The tutor is paid only when the lesson is completed. If something goes wrong, open a dispute within 72 hours and the payment stays on hold until Zasu resolves it.
Refunding my unused wallet balance to my bank
Go to “My learning” → “Refund balance to bank”, enter a bank account in your own name and the amount (minimum 20,000₫). The amount leaves your wallet immediately and Zasu transfers it within 1–2 business days after verification. You can cancel the request until the transfer is made.
Account & security
I forgot my password
Click “Forgot password?” on the login page and enter your email to get a reset link (valid 60 minutes). After resetting, all other devices are signed out.
I signed up with Google — can I set a password?
Yes. Go to “Account settings” → “Set a password” (no old password needed). You can then sign in with Google or with email and password.
Changing the language
Pick a language in the top bar (or at the bottom of the menu on mobile). Zasu notifications and emails also follow the language you used most recently.
I'd like to teach or consult on Zasu
Go to “Become a tutor or expert” and click “Start as a tutor / expert” — it uses your current account, no need to sign up again. Your learning history stays as it is.
