Lesson notes & assigning homework

Write notes after the lesson and set homework with a due date and attachments — the learner is notified on their phone right away.

⏱ 3 min read🗓 Updated 22/10/2026

The notes form is on the lesson page (click Join class or Details), right below the classroom. The form only appears once the lesson has started — you can write during or after the lesson.

  1. Step 1

Fill in Lesson notes (visible to the student), Homework and Homework due date

Notes: what you covered today, strengths / weaknesses, what needs more practice. Homework: a specific task for the next lesson.

The due date is optional. If you set one, the learner gets a reminder when less than 48 hours remain and they haven't submitted.

Typed notes in the classroom but didn't send them? The form shows the line “There's a draft typed in the classroom…” with a Load into the form button.

  2. Step 2

Attach the assignment: click + Add file ①

Images, PDF, Word — up to 5 MB per file, 5 files per lesson; files are saved as soon as they upload and deleted automatically after 7 days. Attachments are available for paid lessons (or once you and the learner have completed a paid lesson).

  3. Step 3

    Click Save notes ②

The learner gets the notification “📝 … set homework” (or “left notes after your … lesson” if there are only notes). You can still edit afterwards; the learner is only notified again when the content changes.
