Writing a progress report

  1. Step 1

After 4 completed lessons, the Tutor hub shows 📊 Progress reports to write — click Write report →

Zasu reminds you at 9:00 am (“📊 Time for a progress report”). Free 15-minute trial lessons don't count. To write one earlier, open the learner's Learning journal.

  2. Step 2

Give 3 scores and write 3 paragraphs, then click Send report

Scale 1–5 (1 = needs a lot of work, 3 = satisfactory, 5 = excellent): Attitude & attendance, Understanding, Homework (choose “none assigned” if there was none).

Progress & strengths (required, at least 20 characters), Areas to improve (optional), Plan for the next lessons (required). It takes about 3 minutes.

The learner is notified on their phone and reads the report in the Learning journal, alongside automatic figures: number of lessons, hours, homework submitted, goals reached.

If the learner has a parent following their Family notebook, the form says so — the report is also sent to the parent (the parent can't see your email or phone number).

Goals & roadmap

  1. Step 1

Add goals in the 🎯 Goals & roadmap section (lesson page or Learning journal)

Type a goal (for example “Writing Task 2 at 6.5”), pick a Target date if there is one, and click Add. Learners can add their own goals too; the other side is notified.

  2. Step 2

When the learner reaches a goal: tick the box in front of it

Only the tutor can tick goals. The learner gets “🎉 Goal reached…”; if you tick it on the lesson page, the Learning journal records which lesson it was reached in.

Learning journal

Each tutor–learner pair has a Learning journal: number of lessons, total hours, goals, reports, and every lesson's notes / homework / feedback. Open it from 📒 My students on the Tutor hub or the 📒 Learning journal with … link on the lesson page.
